TPC was incorporated on 23rd May 1980. The Major shareholders are Nihon Singapore Polyolefin Co Ltd. – 70% (led by Sumitomo Chemical Co Ltd) and QPI and Shell Petrochemicals (Singapore) Pte Ltd – 30%.

We are the largest downstream company in the Singapore Petrochemical Complex which is located on Jurong Island – a world-class chemical hub. TPC is also the first major polyolefin manufacturer in Southeast Asia. After the successful commercial operation since February 1984, TPC completed a major expansion in early 1997. TPC is today one of the largest polyolefin producers in the region.
