LANXESS in Singapore serves as an important hub and as a ‘single’ market managing the marketing and sales functions, technical services and production hub for our operations throughout SEA and APAC. LANXESS also operates a biocides facility to serve the burgeoning regional markets. 

In the ASEAN markets, the company has been able to grow its businesses for inorganic pigments, ion exchange resins products, antimicrobial active ingredients, preservatives and disinfectants, for example. These products enjoy good demand in the automotive, food processing, construction and industrial water treatment industries of growth economies, such as Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam. 

LANXESS expanded its portfolio in additives, urethanes products with the acquisition of chemical company Chemtura in 2017. 

LANXESS is signed up to the Responsible Care® code of conduct under the auspices of the SCIC.
