BASF has been present in Singapore since 1978. Singapore is one of the regional bases along with Hong Kong, Shanghai and Kuala Lumpur where several business units have established their global and regional headquarters. The company today operates four production facilities in Singapore, as well as Human Nutrition Application Lab Asia Pacific for its nutrition and health business. BASF posted sales to customers in Singapore of about €380 million in 2022 and had 527 employees as of the end of the year.
